Accommodation for up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms, relax on our picturesque south facing sun deck terrace, secure bike & ski storage, close nearby parking. Allemont has a Patisserie, Boulangerie, cafes, bars, restaurants, outdoor swimming pool & supermarket.
Built in the 19th Century close to the church in the centre of the old village, 'CYCLEoisans The Village House' welcomes up to 8 guests. The house has a unique history, for many years it was a hotel and restaurant called 'L'Hotel Restaurant Manin.' The food was highly regarded in the region, so much so that from 1934 to 1939 the restaurant was awarded a 'Michelin Star.' In recent years the house has been a family home and was purchased by us in late 2018 and has undergone a renovation during 2019 to create a relaxed environment dedicated to groups of friends or families, with exclusive use of the whole house during your stay.
Accommodation is arranged over 2 floors: main floor of the house - Fully equipped kitchen, newly fitted in 2019 with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, hob & washing machine. - From the kitchen there is direct access to our south facing furnished terrace with far reaching views of 'The Oisans.' - Spacious lounge and dining room with TV, DVD player, wood burning stove & table seating for 8 guests. - 1 bedroom with double bed and ensuite shower room, w/c - separate w/c on the top floor - 3 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each room - 2 shower rooms, 2 w/c In total up to 8 guests - 1 double bed, 6 single beds, 3 showers, 4 w/c's. All beds and mattresses are new for 2020. All showers & w/c's have been newly fitted in 2019, we have also installed 2 new large hot water tanks. The property has been fully decorated throughout during 2019.
The lounge, kitchen & all bedrooms benefit from breathtaking views overlooking the village and the church, onwards towards the mountains, including Pic Blanc.
On the ground floor there is a large secure garage for the safe storage of your bikes & sports equipment. Guests are welcome to use our bike tools, pump and repair stand. There is plenty of on street parking very close by.
Allemont can also be spelt 'Allemond' - the village is known by both spellings.
